About Workability
Our Past
Emtech Incorporated trading as Workability is a specialised employment service which was incorporated on 17th November 1988 from premises at 222 East Parade Mount Lawley, with the official opening being held on 20th March 1989. Workability has been operating from 1 Brewer Street Perth since 2003.
We are in our 22nd successful year during which time Workability has achieved healthy results while having to regularly adjust to government shifts in service delivery.
Since 1988 Workability has assisted over 4500 clients and built a strong network of over 780 employers, ensuring all aspects of the workplace are appropriate to the needs of our clients.
Our mission statement back then has not changed much over the past 21 years of operation; to individualise a tailored training and development program for people with disabilities, and support people with disabilities to secure and maintain meaningful work.
Our Future
During the 21 years since inception in 1988 Workability has established itself as a reputable, responsive service organisation with experienced staff members, robust systems and processes.
Our Life Works Program continues to add value to Workability and increase the capacities of clients.
This with our strong client focussed organisation, committed board members, staff and employers support, the work that we do will continue to achieve the highest possible standard of success for our clients and will enable us to be recognised as a benchmark for all disability employment networks.
