Workability International Standards Certification 2009
Workability successfully achieved International Standards Certification with flying colours; a tribute to the professional team. The Annual ISC Audit was conducted in May 2009 auditing the12 Disability Service Standards. The audit included numerous interviews with clients (people with disabilities) many of whom have increased their competencies and gained meaningful employment.
Many positive comments were made by clients regarding Workability, such as

• the support I needed was given to me at all times.
• Workability is just a phone call away, if I need help, or are stressed out.
• I received a lot of help communicating with Homeswest
• We feel that that staff treat us with dignity and respect, understand and promote our individual needs and we would recommend the service to others.
• We get assistance with our medication, accommodation, counseling etc – far more than just employment,
The ISC auditors reported that overall, “Workability is dedicated to their consumers (people with disabilities) further stating “ it was evidenced that clients are assisted in a range of ways, not just relating to employment. The auditors stated that “it also was impressive to see the opportunities that clients have when joining up with Workability”.
